Hello
all again. I think after a while of not posting anything, it was just put me over here to write something. Since the semester is over and spent a month off, then you better write something to share. Well, going to the main topic of this post. A couple of weeks ago I installed on my computer the operating system Ubuntu , which is one of several operating systems based on GNU / Linux. And then a couple of weeks I've been using it to several of my views on it.
At first, it is not the first time using a Linux system, the last time I got to work with another called OpenSUSE, which is also a good operating system.
Well, for those not familiar with Linux, it is a concept of free software, or in other words:
- Programs for those who do not have to pay a penny for them.
- Open Source, meaning that you can modify as you wish without any problem. For
starting sistemilla installation, I must admit that was easier than I expected, because it gave me very simple configuration options, not both rodeo and Windows, plus it has a comprehensive set of languages \u200b\u200bfor which install, which is good because it makes the system understandable to different parts of the world.
Another thing that impressed me far was the boot speed, which is I think it is more or less as 3 times faster than in Windows 7. Maybe more, maybe less, whatever.
For what is the software, I have yet to meet him completely, but I can say that Mozilla Firefox is still the best browser I've used, in my humble opinion, and here in Ubuntu, Firefox does not I was supposed to be open when I closed it, because it is very uncomfortable. As in Windows, that when closed, was open and consume the pure memory msg.
No sólo porque es Software libre, sino the stability of the system and little unnecessary waste of resources as in Windows, reliability and security provided
when you're on the Internet. And although honestly I'm saying this, I am not expert in Linux (yet), there are many things that eventually I will learn, either exploring on my own, or as part of the Linux community so you can search as do something in Linux, or solve a problem either with my system or a program you do not understand.
Another very cool thing about Ubuntu is that once an update is published, you will notice that it is above the update and tell you what and what is its function, even if there will be a new version of Ubuntu, this is updated to the new version after the installation of updates.
Well, in conclusion, let Ubuntu is an excellent OS, and more when you know how to handle everything you give, you can do many things while I am still learning to use it, I'm sure I'll find out little by little over what is the vast world of Linux and Ubuntu.
If anyone is interested or wants to have a Linux system, I would recommend this, and you can download the official Ubuntu site easily and without cost, here the link: http://www
. ubuntu.com / Already
just give in Download Ubuntu , select which version they want to download and play.
Well, I hope not to have bored with this post, greetings to all, and having a good day. n_n
